October Fundraising Total

At our October Larne Sprints gala, we had a 'Chuck-a-Duck Contest' to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. More than fifty entrants participated who chucked more than 100 ducks from the pool's gallery into a floating donut ring. The winners were those whose ducks landed inside the float, and they received a range of donated prizes from volunteers.
Thanks to everyone who took part and who donated prizes. A great time was had by all, and we raised a total of £216 between the sponsorship of ducks and the purchase of gala programmes!!
