Development Gala 2 Ballymena

Seventeen swimmers travelled to Ballymena to take part in the second development meet of the season. The main focus for the swimmers was to show off their race skills, to get PB times, achieve Qualifying Meet times and get 200 IM times for squad movement. All or some of these goals were achieved by the swimmers. In the 200 IM Sam got a 19 sec PB and came 3rd. Luke McKillion got a 18 sec PB and came 2nd. Charlotte got a 17 sec PB and came 4th. Ellen got over a 10 sec PB and came 2nd. Lucy,Rhianna,Treasa,Sophie and Abbie all got PB times in 200 IM. In the other events the following not only got PB times but were also placed in their age groups. Sam came 2nd in 100 BS and 1st in 50 Fly. Rhianna came 3rd in 100 FS Ellen came 3rd in 100 BS Charlotte came 2nd 100 FS Eve came 3rd 100 BRS Owen came 2nd BRS Nathen came 3rd 50 Fly Jane Anne , Kate, Andrew, Maya and Oliver also took part and achieved PB times. The team spirit was great and each swimmer is a credit to the Club. What a great day of competing I am so proud of you all! Fiona
